Chinese traditional new year always takes place on the second month of the year. In 2018, the first day of The Year of The Dog falls on Feb 16th. Let's see how we celebrate Chinese traditional Spring Festival:

[Annual Company Banquet] - February 13
After hard working for a year, Easylock holds an annual company banquet to ring out the old year and ring in the new year. Different companies pick up different day to hold their annual company banquet.


[New Year's Eve] - February 15
On February 15, it's time for cleaning. We paste spring festival couplet and decorate our house.


New Year's Eve is similar to Christmas Eve, families who works in remote cities come back home and have a wonderful dinner together.

[New Year] - February 16
On the first day of the New Year, we go to visit our relatives. We give Lucky Money to the elder relatives to wish them a healthy and happy year, and give Lucky Money to kids to wish them a happy childhood and academic progress.


[Go Back Work] - February 23
After a week of day-off, we are ready for a new working year. Some companies starts on the 6th of the new year; some companies starts after Lantern Festival (the 15th of the Lunar new year). However, most of companies starts on the 8th day, because the number "8" means fortune and wealth in China. On this day, bosses will give all the staff Lucky Money and wish a prosperous new year.
